Beautiful place for a walk, various routes depending on how long youd like to be out. Good mountain biking for various skill levels.
Gorgeous woods. Lovely spot to get back to quiet walking. Stunning views. No facility's or dog poo bins. X
A beautiful part of the world 'Thrunton Woods'.There are plenty of tracks, trails & logging roads to choose from so once you have parked up its up to you how far you want to go.In past experience your better being prepared with the appropriate clothing & footware as the weather can change very quickly.
Lovely place. We did the red route which is advertised as 4 mile but closer to 5 1/2. Only downside today in the heat were lots of flies following us. Good paths through shaded areas with easy to follow signage. Car park was full on arrival but we only saw a couple of bikers and walkers.
