Excellent food & service.And eating in the first class lounge of the Olympic, sister ship of the Titanic, is a bit special.Been back twice now, and loved it both times.
More B&B standard than a hotel. No extractor in the bathroom, the vanity light didn't work and the loose loo roll holder annoyed me so much I ended up fixing it. Instant coffee in the room too. It wouldn't take much to provide a cafetiere and ground coffee. The Olympic room is stunning, though.
An asolutely amazing experience. To step back in time and see parts of history from one of the well known sister ships, The Olympic. Sister of The titanic and The Britanic, which sadly ended there journeys (one way or another) in tragedy. That aside the staff are unbelievable, warm and welcoming. It's a must place to stay or visit in the lovely historical town of Alnwick.
What an amazing place to stay. There's so much to say about this hotel and all of it's good. Amazing views of the castle AKA Hogwarts... and you can walk there in minutes. The botanical gardens are located just below on the way to the castle. Park your car and you can walk around the town. The food in the hotel was great with several dining rooms. The main dining room is salvaged from the Titanic's sister ship. Breakfast is amazing with great food choices and just being in that room is amazing! Everyone on the staff was polite, friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. We stayed 4 nights and didn't find anything to complain about. Loved the place. Great location and convenience.
Beautiful hotel. Right in the centre of town. Free parking. Lovely friendly staff. Good sized ensuite room whole place spotlessly clean. The breakfast was well set out & cooked items good quality. Bit dearer than some accommodations but we worth the extra for the breakfast room itself. It is absolutely breathtaking. Highly recommend.
