Attention to detail at Bow house is exceptional.Top class breakfast and very comfortable rooms. Friendly host who goes the extra mile. Bathrooms well equipped and good showering experience. Could not have asked for more.

As far as B&B's go, Bow House is the obvious choice in Alnwick! The owners are friendly, extremely helpful, and very relaxed--a distinguishing feature from those cast-iron grans who give you the hairy eyeball as soon as you forget to take your shoes off inside ;) They also leave the premises during the day, so you actually feel quite private, but they provide number in case you are to require something. Cozy, clean, and a decent breakfast selection included. Would stay here again if ever in the area!
