Took 5 months to get my flooring put right. The fault with the flooring was not down to them but the time it took them to come and fit it was a joke they cancelled twice and then turned up with the wrong flooring and when you try to get in touch with them you just get an answer machine when I eventually got to speak to someone they weren't very helpful i asked to speak to the managing director and told that he was out that day and he would call me the next day 2 weeks later and still no phone call from him.would never use these again.
Purchased carpets from Dickinsons, ordered in November, the job only completed on 21st March!!This was due to shortage of carpet to complete the job, which took 3 attempts to arrive with the correct one!Then all of the carpets had been badly fitted, so the all had to come up, new grippers fitted, which should have been done in the first place, and then the carpet re laid. In the hall the carpet had to be completely replaced, as there had been a piece put in by a door. Terrible customer service, in fact it was nonexistent, it was left up to me, the customer, to keep ringing to find out when carpet fitters were attending.I was really stressed, having to move all the furniture again, we are taking three rooms and the hall, It took a lot of phone calls and the intervention of an MD of the company to get it sorted.The carpet is nice quality, however, less than happy with the service from this company and would not go back or recommend.
I bought all my curtains, carpets and furniture here for my holiday home. Fantastic, friendly advice and great value for such quality.
