What a find.. One of those CLs that is better than some main CMC sites. All services except TV distribution (good signal anyway with 112 digital channels) but even got WiFi. Run by a great couple who are a mine of information about the area. All hard standing.. Very close to East Coast mainline but quiet at night and not disruptive during the day. You'll know when a train is coming because trains sound horns from both directions as they approach. Picture shows proximity to trains so not a problem. We will return.Beware if you are a Boon Docker hoping to use the facilities... They are so good that the owner does not react well to freeloaders and quite rightly so too!
Well layed out CL and well maintained. Good location between Alnwick and Beadnell on coast.
Friendly owners, spaces flat hardsanding pitch's, easy access, good information hut. Clean and tidy.
Very well looked after, tidy and convenient for Alnwick and the coast. Next to a fairly busy road and the east coast mainline is well within earshot. However, these are only busy during the day and didn't cause us any problems. A good certified location.
Despite very mixed weather, my wife and I had a lovely week on this site. We were close to Newton Hall where we attended a wedding on one day and were able to spend the rest of the (dry) days exploring the beautiful coast nearby. A lot of care and attention has been put into this CL by the proprietors who understand what caravan owners want.
