I love this place. There's few places like it. Take your time to browse the books, enjoy the warm fire, watch the model trains circle atop the bookcases and tuck into some comfort food. Very unique and enjoyable.
The most magical place, like a Hogwarts library. Loads of amazing books for great prices. I recommend having tea and cake in their coffee shop, sitting by the fireplaces and eating was delightful.
Excellent second hand bookshop with a fantastic cafe. Cafe can be busy, but it's worth it, with a good menu, including healthy options. I had the avocado on toast, which was excellent. Their big chips are also perfect.The bookshop has a very wide selection of books and is one of the biggest second hand bookshops in the country. Some old/unusual titles, although they can be quite pricey. Staff are friendly too.
What a second hand bookshop should be and so much more. Staff are great. At the entrance you'll find a coal, open fire with a coffee and tea bar where you can serve yourself. There's an honesty box: 35p a drink. The books are endless, from the cheap (3.60 for a beautifully illustrated Art book) to the, take a photo of that book as I'll never be able to afford it books. Didn't go into the buffet as it was heaving. A must visit.
Absolutely stunning. The range of books and the way they are displayed is truly beautiful. Something here for everyone, even if you aren't looking for books. They have music and DVDs too! And the cutest train to show the kids. As well as this the cafe is fabulous as well! One of the best baked potato's I've eaten.
