Alnmouth the most beautiful place I've been to in such a long time. Gallery was historical and had beautiful paintings my favourite artist Sue Fenlon. Intend to visit again very soon. Wonderful beach and nature area would love to live here with my two dogs. A dream!!!
It's literally in a very old school and they even have the outside tables in the playground. We saw the wall buddleia covered with butterflies on one of our visits - so gorgeous. It's off the high street but signs are up at the entrance roundabout, so keep your eyes peeled. Parking is on the road, so it's limited but Alnmouth isn't big, so walk up from the main street or even from the beach after a lovely long walk. Local artists' work is displayed for sale either full size or prints on cards and calendars etc and there is an inside part to the cafe. An array of gifts are available too.
